A lot of wonderful writer things have been happening. I have gotten great reviews for both of my summer releases Mona's Return and Not Your Abuelita's Folktales. Writers, you know how hard it is to get these.

I am also celebrating my 1,000+ followers on Twitter and getting to know a huge number of amazing writers. In celebration, I am giving away two books today, Friday, August 16, and will have a benchmark giveaway every 1,000 followers. That has been one of the greatest discoveries: These authors are supportive and uplifting and making me buy a bunch of great books.
