My Spiritual Victory Dance

I was going to wait until the end of semester to post my victory dance, but my family will be super busy next week with all the holiday parties I am organizing.

There are spaces in my life that I have struggled to give up to God. I had addictions like to online games and other personal struggles, but finally, and in His time, I have been free for over 15 weeks, and longer in most cases.

I’m not talking about doing drugs or drinking alcohol, I mean little spaces like indulging negative thinking, cursing out loud (I am still working on this motherfucking issue), or “checking out” with Facebook games.  God made things possible, that I thought were impossible.

So, thank you Lord, for centering me on You and as the saying goes, “Letting go, and letting God.”

Things may not happen on our timeline; they rarely do, but don’t give up hope, pray constantly, and keep the faith strong.
