I mean that in the most positive way. Over my two-week holiday break, I took my lap top and was going to work on translations and incorporating comments into my anthology.
What really happened? I made baby blankets for my nephew who is having his first baby boy, and I napped. I mean, I took some epic naps. Did I think about the book at all? Only slightly with minor twinges of guilt. I didn't even bother to have my sister read the manuscript. Alas, I am not giving up hope because I found an editor, and I can't wait to work with him. So, my pregnant writing advice is to take naps. Then once you have your energy boost, write for ten to fifteen minutes. A little bit each day goes a long ways, even if it's just a simple blog post.
