It’s a story of an American man who moves to Turkey to teach English. He falls in love with his beautiful colleague—and unwittingly drags her into the claws of a demon. The demon messes up with their minds, and they must fight for their lives, souls, and sanity. I’m not telling you whether they make it, though. 😉 Oh, I should probably add that I wrote the first draft five years ago . . . while working as an English teacher in Turkey. Was the writing process different than Deception of the Damned? It was pretty similar. Last year, I rewrote the old, nearly forgotten draft and sent it to my editor, who sent me back her comments. I did my revisions and asked a few friends to read it for me. Then I polished it up accordingly to their recommendations. I’m writing my new project from scratch, which is much more exciting.
