My Abuelita or my Grandmother play's a big part in my childhood. She is always there whenever my mother needs to attend an important event. Sometimes she tells me a bedtime story that makes me fall asleep. I don't remember any of it, but I still remember how her voice soothes me. I always feel safe when she's around. Though she is now in heaven, I will never forget all those special moments that I was able to spend with her. I know she is smiling now, knowing that we never forget her. Leave a Reply. |
